Lemon-Ginger Morning Zinger

Most mornings, we’re half asleep while trying to prep breakfast and perk up for the day ahead. Is that sugar you put in the coffee, or salt? Who knows, it all looks the same and you’re probably still dreaming. But to give your day a kick start, drink this warm lemon-ginger mix before anything else! It’s great as a cleanse companion, or as part of a daily routine. You’ll notice improvements in your mood, energy, and skin!

Ginger too helps with digestion, nose and throat congestion (great during flu or allergy season), and can relieve nausea during those long car rides. Here’s more.

Now imagine combining the two! They’re more of a power couple than most Hollywood duos.

Ingredients:

1/2 lemon

1 tsp grated ginger root

1 cup hot water

Instructions:

1. Squeeze the juice of 1/2 lemon into a cup

2. Peel the ginger and grate 1 tsp into the cup

3. Pour the hot water on top, let the mix cool a little,  and your ready to rumble

Style is served!
